UPDATE October 17, 2022 _ have not raised money, been sponsored or employed to go on a swing state tour as of this writing , although continue to believe this s the most effective way meet people with climate change denial syndrome. I”m happy to say i have participated with the Environmental Voter Project to call identified non voters in battleground states

Since 2018 I have been teaching the multiple issues of Climate Change Denial Syndrome, yet I realize much of my work is in vain since I live in a New England Blue State. I know the only way to make a difference is by voting. Voting for law changes, and with my money by deciding what to purchase, or not.

The people who need to vote for the future of our grandchildren and are voting against a price on carbon, are in Swing States.

The two closest to me were Maine and Pennsylvania in 2020, however we can recognize anti climate, non-sustainable, pro carbon voting records of many elected legislators and senators.

People who are infected with Climate Change Denial Syndrome refuse to recognize the facts that Earth needs help through clean energy. More than 80 large fires were burning 1.7M acres (2600 square (50×52) miles) of the USA country on July 30, 2021 in 13 states.

The two largest, the California Dixie Fire (240,000 acres/larger than all NYC)( 4 miles away from the 2018 Camp Fire), and the Oregon Bootleg Fire (413,000 acres) have both been burning earlier and stronger than usual for this time of year because of drought conditions and record heat that have been attributed to Upper Level Ridging (elongated regions of Jet Stream high pressure), described here as “Open (ZigZag) Waves”

People need to kmnow about the 2020 legislative changes effecting the National Environmental Protection Act of 1970, one of the most fundamental foundations of environmental sustainability for our posterity. Our children will live in the future with only a memory of those living in 2021, and what they did to create the environment I will probably not see in 2070.

A WEEK ON THE SWING STATE TOUR WITH DAVID CARR

A swing state tour week is nine nights and ten days, Starting Friday at 8am when we pick up the rental vehicle, ending the follooing Monday at 730am when I return it with four nights of rest before the next tour, allowing a twenty days of activity in four weeks. The rental car is proposed because it is more efficent than my vehicles, and has a road service guarantee.

11:00-12:00 Local Business stops and posting on telephone polls (50 flyers)
12-12:30 First Lunch & Water Stop (leave 50 flyers)
12:45-1;15 Second Lunch &Water Stop (leave 50 flyers)
1;30-4:30 : Local Businesses, Office Parks, City Parks, Country Club (50 flyers each)
430-5:00- 1st One Beer Happy Hour (leave 50 flyers)
5:00-5:30 2nd One Beer Happy Hour(leave 50 flyers)
6:00-7:30 Diner/ Restaurant Stops (50 flyers each)
8:00 Check In Motel after distributing 2000-3000 flyers

I can not go everywhere without sponsors and a team, so I am praying Earthlobbyist.com will find people who share my passion and commitment of stewardship for the grandchildren of our lives. 3. If you live in s Swing State consider your personal responsibility and belief systems. This means you must educate yourself, using authentic scientific information, because nobody is going to care who was president in 2022 when extreme weather has New York and Miami under 6 feet of water, or monster hurricanes, floods, wildfires disease with food and water shortages have made our grandchildren’s children home inhabitable. There is no Planet B

I imagine there will be a massive caravans of vehicles, trekkers and cyclyists all carrying the same message of hope and responsibility.

I imagine there will be people in temples, churches and mosques, offering prayers of hope, witness and commitment .

I imagine there will be people standing in front of gas stations, convenience stores, coffee shops, super markets, bars, and municipal builings, meeting other people, handing out that one piece of paper while they ask ” Where are your grandchildren going to live?”

If we build it they will come. A Journey starts with a single step. Be the change you imagine. There is no time to hate. United we stand. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

On July 30, 2021. I was watching the Western United states burn, seeing red suns and moons over my east coast home. We recently experienced Storm Elsa which dumped massive rainstorms that flooded NYC subways and moved a seven foot cement and steel pipe cap that weights over a ton near my home. It seems this small Tropical Storm Elsa delivered the most powerful water velocity than I have witnessed since 1997.
